"At a depth of 86 feet (26 meters) beneath the ocean's surface, was a sandy runway leading to a naturally formed crevice in the coral reef wall. The freediver, confidently stands on the edge of this runway, which gradually descends to a dramatic drop-off. It is from this vantage point that I positioned myself to capture this unique upward perspective. Remarkably, the underwater visibility in The Bahamas is such that even at these depths, the clouds above can still be seen clearly. The drop-off itself is quite steep, plunging to depths of approximately 6,600 feet (2,000 meters) into the vast expanse of the Tongue Of The Ocean abyss."
