With over 4,000 logged scuba dives from around the globe and more than 15 years of freediving and shark diving experience, he is a trusted expert in working with large marine megafauna such as Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads, and Oceanic Whitetip Sharks.
As an ocean advocate, André serves as an ambassador for SeaLegacy and the Bahamas National Trust, championing efforts to safeguard marine environments and inspire action. He has worked with prestigious organizations and brands, both behind and in front of the camera, including National Geographic, BBC, Discovery Channel, Nautica, and Rolex.
By capturing images of people engaging with the ocean and its vibrant wildlife, André strives to bridge the disconnect between humanity and the sea—a divide that often leads to choices harming this delicate ecosystem. He aims to inspire a deeper connection to the ocean, fostering a sense of responsibility and empowering sustainable actions to protect it.
