Glowstone

"Swimming along the cliffs of Mallorca, Spain, I discovered a hidden cave formed by boulders that had broken away from the cliff. I was thrilled to find this small cave, especially as the beam of light piercing through the rock was perfectly aligned with the sun’s height in the sky. Light beams shining into caves are always showstoppers for me; their intensity changes depending on the angle you view them. I positioned the model right on the edge of the light beam, under the shadow of the rock, creating striking highlights on her skin. The white rocks lining the cave floor acted as a natural bounce light, illuminating the subject from below. It always amazes me how places like this, created by fallen cliff rocks, can form such beauty. Dark as it may be, the cave becomes even more beautiful with just a little bit of light shining through."
