Bimini, Bahamas/ 2020
Amidst the inviting and sun-kissed shallows of Bimini, Bahamas, we find a freediver sharing the aquatic realm with a curious Nurse Shark. While our primary intention was to observe the frequented habitat of Hammerhead Sharks, fate had a different encounter in store for us. As we waited for the elusive Hammerheads, a few inquisitive Nurse Sharks ventured into the vicinity, drawn by the alluring scent of our fish bait. Nurse Sharks are typically found reclining on the ocean floor, but on this occasion, one of them chose to glide through the mid-water column, approaching Sofia with a sense of curiosity.
