About The Shot
Bimini, Bahamas/ 2024
"The curious and playful nature of wild dolphins makes every ocean encounter unique. While freediving in Bimini, Bahamas with a pod of six dolphins, I observed them feeding in the sand at about 35 feet of water. They seemingly ignored my presence, glancing at me only as they surfaced for air. I noticed the dolphins were most curious on their way down to the sandy bottom after taking a breath. Timing my dives to descend with them, I managed to be face-to-face, upside down, with one dolphin. It sank down without kicking, its head turning left to right, showing as much curiosity towards me as I had towards it."
