The tiger shark, with its distinctive stripes, moves gracefully alongside the great hammerhead shark, whose unique head shape gives it an otherworldly appearance. With the Bahamas being the shark diving capital of the world, it boasts at least 40 species of sharks. The presence of these apex predators showcases a thriving marine ecosystem, which helps support the small island nation through tourism and fishing.
