About The Shot
Bimini, The Bahamas/ 2024
A Great Hammerhead Shark swims along the powdery white sandy sea bottom of Bimini, Bahamas. These sharks frequent Bimini in search of food that lives in the sand flats and seagrass beds, such as Southern Stingrays and Spotted Eagle Rays. Hammerhead sharks are generally very timid animals, but their unique head shape makes them one of my favorite sharks to see. However, they don't care much to interact or come in too close when in the wild without food incentive.
